The Tour was created 25 years ago by a group of working artists and community patrons with a shared purpose and vision: to showcase the fine and functional artists in our rural community working in their own creative spaces. 2026 marks the 25th year of the Tour.
The 25th annual Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour features the private working studios of xxx artists located within a 30-mile radius of the Historic Stone County Courthouse Square in Mountain View, Arkansas. The Tour takes you inside the private working studios of these artists. This year there are XXX participating artists. The artists will show you their creative process and they will have work available for purchase.

The Artist tab presents a convenient alphabetical listing of the 2026 partipating artists as well as a grouping of each media.
This is a self guided driving tour so a map of the studios is essential to the Tour.The 2026 map will be available on the map tab as soon as it is completed, and there are written directions on each artist’s page. A printed book with all this information will be available the first week in September throughout the tour area. This 2026 Map and Artist Guide to all the studios will provide directions to you as you travel “off the beaten path” through the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
