Stained glass is a relatively new passion for me but all of my life I have been learning how to make things. Building things, repurposing and decorating found objects, and surrounding myself with beauty are motivating factors in my life. As soon as I took an introductory lesson in stained glass, I knew it was worth pursuing. I was amazed at how the tools worked. I keep pursuing new techniques to enhance the projects. Increasingly complex and different projects keep it interesting. My wonderfully supportive husband Jim and I live on our 64 acre piece of land with dogs and horses, three large ponds and a koi pond. I used my master gardener knowledge to create a garden oasis that provides inspiration for all of my creative work. My husband Jim and I moved to the Ozarks and it fulfilled a dream – being surrounded by pristine nature and full of inspiring sights and sounds. I would like to show you a bit of my world. My stained glass creations come in many sizes and shapes but they all shine when the sun plays on them. You can see aspects of our lovely land and home and garden incorporated into my work.

I use the copper foil method as it is used for Tiffany style lamps. I select the glass, cut out and fit all pieces, then I foil edges and solder. Some pieces also have copper wire overlap and embellishments.
