The Tour was created 25 years ago by a group of working artists and community patrons with a shared purpose and vision: to showcase the fine and functional artists in our rural community working in their own creative spaces. 2026 marks the 25th year of the Tour.

The 25th annual Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour features 22 private working studios of artists located within a 30-mile radius of the Historic Stone County Courthouse Square in Mountain View, Arkansas. The self-guided driving Tour takes you to the private working studios of these artists. This year there are 26 participating artists. You will see the creative process each artist uses to create their unique form of art and finished pieces that are available for purchase directly from the artist.
